Just getting into the role for Tommy's third adventure.

The Author

Richard Thomas  was born in the great city of Coventry - the heartland of the British motor industry in late 1969. Coming from a military family, he fostered a love for classic British war films. He grew up on thick helpings of  The cruel Sea, In Which We Serve, The Longest Day, The Eagle Has Landed, Zulu, The Battle Of Britain - creative fuel for the future.  He began his early career as Graphic designer for several magazines and a newspaper, eventually moving into the printing trade.  As time went by and his children appeared as if out of thin air, money became the all encompassing need to bring up his family.  A change of career came and 9 years of service as a Prison Officer flew by.  Before long an idea struck—his artistic talent wasn’t just about creating images—it was about telling great, original stories. If you ask his children, they will tell you there is none better. Richard switched gears to writing; he researched the historicl period for Forever the Colours, chose a hero, threw in some artistic license and hey presto - his first novel.
